How To Get Text Message (SMS) Alerts From Memphis Schools Using Twitter

1. Sign up for a Twitter account. It's free to join.

2. Register your cell phone with Twitter to allow for text messaging.

3. "Follow us" using one of the links on our website. You can follow the district and/or any of the individual schools, depending on what info you want to keep up to date on. (Follow 'MemphisSchools' to get notified of school cancellations, and other important district-related information)

4. After you click the "Follow" link on Twitter's site, and then click on the link to turn Device updates ON.
